Reflection

September 1, 2019

I tried something this week that was out of my comfort zone. I went to a Bible Study that was led by four pastors of different churches and different denominations. The majority of the people there were outside of my age range, and I have to be honest, I considered leaving.  I did not leave, I stayed, and I am glad that I did. I was able to share thoughts and have meaningful discussions with other believers.  We are all children of God, no matter what church we attend. This made me think of cultural humility and how it’s important to see things from another person’s point of view. We are all God’s children, and we should love one another as He loves us.
